• Obtain the Police Officer’s contact details if one attends, and a copy of the Police report if available
• As soon as possible, record the accident details including location, street names, and the circumstances. Sketch the road lay-out, direction of travel, placement of vehicles & impact point of collision

This is all good advice. My car accident wasn’t that bad and the car was still drivable but I had a hellova job trying to find a panelbeating shop that was interested in going out of their way to help. Fortunately my company use Crash Management for their fleet cars so I originally heard about their service that way, otherwise I’d still be waiting. Crash Management’s service is MUCH better than dealing with panelbeaters and insurance companies directly, they organise EVERYTHING. Service is fast and professional with a great result.
